I received the HydraLuminous+ Whipped Day Cream and was really excited to try it. I'm always on the hunt for a good moisturizer, especially one that helps with fine lines. After 2 weeks of using it every morning, I can confidently say it's not the right moisturizer for me, but it could work for someone with a different daily routine. I'll start with the good: The Day Cream feels rich and luxurious when you scoop it out of the container, and applies nicely to skin. It absorbs well, and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. After using it for 2 weeks, my skin felt nice, and I didn't experience any clogged pores etc, which can sometimes be an issue for me. The bad: This moisturizer HATES having anything applied on top of it. I typically use Supergoop unseen sunscreen every day, and every time I applied it, it pilled horribly. I would be picking little globs out of my eyebrows and the edges of my hairline. It also did not get along well with my foundation or concealer - and I tried 3 different foundations with it. On a day that I planned to stay home, and do indoor chores, the moisturizer was great, but otherwise it was a battle against the formulation. If you're someone who doesn't do foundation, this could work for you, but it's not a good fit for my skincare and makeup regimen.

I received this product for free through BzzAgent. I used it every morning for a few weeks and I wanted to like it but I really did not. If I applied just the smallest bit of make up over this lotion, it would pill like crazy. Even if I was using a primer, just small amounts of product, anything. I'd get clumps of white gunk all over my face and even in my hair. To be fair, the product did feel hydrating and didn't irritate my skin but it was not practical for day use.

I feel that since I tend to run more oily the product doesn't work for me as well since it says for dry skin.

I was lucky enough to receive a free sample of this cream. Right now I am in the inbetween. I don't have the skin of 40 yr old yet but my skin is definitely not what is was in my early 30's. This cream is hydrating and has a very silky feel to it. I am only on week two of using it but I do notice the dry patches I had before are almost gone and it doesn't overload my skin. No breakouts and a little bit does go a long way. I will definitely be adding this to my routine. The only thing is it can feel a little heavy, so as I mentioned a little bit does go a long way.

I had high hopes for this product considering the key ingredients and benefits listed. I have sensitive (truly, not self-diagnosed) and take great care of my skin. This product is supposed to hydrate dry to very dry skin and as someone with combination - oily skin, this product dried my skin out. I'm not sure what it would do to someone with truly dry skin. As soon as I applied it, my skin felt drier. I am big on hydration and I am one to definitely do multiple steps in my routine to ensure that but as soon as I applied this moisturizer, what should have been a great addition to keep my skin hydrated did the opposite. The best thing is I didn't have a reaction from it so that is a plus.
