It has a bit of a cooling effect for me which is welcomed. It soaks up well and leaves no residue. I don't know how they made a gel that's not heavy but it is light. Quick disclosure — I received this product for free in exchange for my trial of the product and honest review. I love how friendly this moisturizer is to sensitive skin. I use prescription retinol and have to be careful about using products that will irritate my skin. This one is so gentle on my skin and doesn't cause the irritation I worry about with new products! It also packs a punch and in its lightweight formula leaves my skin mostly hydrated and supple. My only complaints are that the jar is small so I would have to purchase relatively frequently, and the product did not completely fix some of the peeling/flakiness I deal with in my T-zone because of the prescription retinol. Otherwise, this is a great product and one I will consider adding to my routine!

I applied this product morning and night because I ran out of my other moisturizer. This face gel is very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves a nice dewy finish. I saw results in just a few days. From my pictures you can see that dry, scaly scabs from my breakout went away in a short amount of time. I have combination skin and this gel brought moisture to my dry areas without making the oily areas more oily. I appreciate that this product is made without harsh ingredients, although I did experience stinging on some open wounds. (I recommend to not use this on the night you exfoliate or decide to pop a pimple.) Am also very glad this came in a jar so I can use the entire contents without waste.

I received the No7 Hydraluminous+ Hydrating Night Gel for free to review. I've been using it at night for a couple weeks now. I was excited to try this brand because I've always heard good things. Firstly, I do like the texture/thickness of the product. It goes on smoothly and feels good on my skin. The issue I've been having with it, is that it absorbs so quickly that it leaves my skin feeling tight and dry, to the point that it's uncomfortable. I've been having to layer another moisturizer with it so that this doesn't happen. As far as noticing a difference, my skin does feel hydrated in the morning. I have rosacea so I need to be very careful of what I put on my face and I've noticed no extra redness from this. I'm following the instructions, using it on cleansed dry skin in the evening after washing my face. If it left my skin feeling more hydrated and less dry after it absorbed I would be very happy. As it is, I will continue to use it, it's just unfortunate that for myself I require another moisturizer.

I've been using this night cream for 3 weeks now. My skin is nice and smooth and soft. It goes on really light, not greasy or heavy or too thick. Will definitely buy again.

It glides right on my skin. I cannot get over how soft & hydrated my skin is when I wake up after using this product. It gives my skin a natural glow that is very noticeable. It has a very light, pleasant scent. Highly recommend!
