I received this product as a promotion in exchange for a review and was combined with No7 1% retinol night concentrate. I wasn't sure I needed it as my skin is used to retinol, but after trying it, I just loved the way it felt. It's a nice texture and made my skin so soft and smooth. After about two weeks, I noticed my skin was brighter, softer and had a youthful glow. I will definitely continue using this!

I used the Post Retinol Soother after using the No7 Pure Retinol 1% Night Concentrate and this is the stuff! This helped soothe my skin and make cool it down quite a bit after application of the Retinol. I used this on my hands everyday and not only did it help with the Retinol, it made the skin on my hands feel hydrated and kind of springy (as in my skin bounced back after touching it). I love this cream and actually had my friends try it with me for a few days. Now they're upset with me because they want to buy it and add it to their beauty skin selection of cremes and will likely get rid of some of their other ones they liked. I definitely am recommending.this for my family and friends and now will likely have to get more, not only for me, but for Christmas and birthday gifts.

I got this to try along with the retinol product. This was the perfect companion product for the retinol cream. I have sensitive skin and this helped to soothe the effects of the retinol cream. I would try other Boots products based on the effectiveness of this product. Nice to find something that really works but I don't have to buy it from the dermatologist :)

I loved it. The first day I used as much as much as I would for another product such as a moisturizer but I found that was to much that it went on so nicely you don't have to use as much. I loved the way it felt on my face

I use .1 percent retin which does a number on my face. I alternate between that and AHA each day so my face goes through it! Some days I wake up with dry flaky skin but that means it's working right!? This product reduces the likelihood of my skin drying out. It has ceramides and Niacinamide which are the latest must have ingredients in your skin care routine to strengthen, repair and restore your skin. What ingredient really caught my eye is the bisabolol. I've never had this in my skin care before. It also helps protect the skin and has anti microbial properties to help prevent acne. I am in my 40s and still suffer from acne breakouts so this was great to see.

This retinol really does work.I applied the soother directly after using the pure retinol but also used it on days I didn't apply retinol. I think using the retinol without the soother would be a big mistake. I could see how the soother helped calm my skin down and moisturize as it was peeling. It is soft and light and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I would defiantly buy this product and will be keeping it as part of my daily skincare

I've read that this soother was not incorporated into the serum so that the serum could work it's best into the skin. This soother is formulated with niacinamide and ceramides to help support the barrier and improve the tolerance of the serum. I use it e en when not using the serum.

I definitely needed this after starting retinol, it helped a lot to soothe my face. I needed it especially around my mouth area.

This is the soother that you apply after the retinol. I definitely used this alone a few times and love how it glides on the skin. Feels like it gives a nice moisture barrier.
