I do not like writing reviews but this product works so I hope my opinion helps others to try this. I'm 72 and showing lines and wrinkles. Advanced Retinal has definitely worked. I have used it nightly for almost 3 weeks and can see an improvement. My skin feels firmer and the "laugh lines" and "deep thought lines" on my forehead are less visible. Thank you products that work.

I purchased this product along with the Restore and Renew Serum. I used both products precisely as directed. After three weeks (three applications), I added one non-consecutive night. I was careful not to apply near my eyes, mouth or on my neck. The next morning I awoke with horribly swollen and itchy eyelids. I had dermatitis - blisters and extreme itching - all down my neck and onto my upper chest. The next day, the dermatitis on my neck and chest was even worse, even after applying hydrocortisone cream. This is the third day, and there is some slight improvement of my eyes and neck. This was my first experience with No7 and sadly, my last. Wish I knew what specific chemical is the culprit.

Following the manufacturer's instructions, I initially limited the use of this complex to twice a week. After a two week period, I started to apply it every other night. From the outset, I did not experience any sensitivity and made sure I applied it to my face only. There was, however, just a small amount of peeling. Although I have been using this product for a relatively short period of time, I am seeing some improvement when it comes to fine lines and wrinkles. The lines do not appear to be so deep. The same is true of the dark spots on my face. All of the above are inevitably part of the process of aging, and so anything that helps alleviate that process is very welcome. The product is easy to apply and glides on nicely. It is neither oily or greasy. I was not able to detect any kind of scent, which is preferable in my opinion. This company does not test on animals which is a huge plus as far as I am concerned. I do not purchase products from companies that test on animals. I am very happy with this product. I am looking forward to using it in the future with continued progress.

I'm fifty and have been using retinol products since my 20s, so it is safe to say that I know about it. This has been the best so far because there has been NO irritation. One might say because I have been using it so long that I wouldn't be prone to irritation in the first place, but that isn't true. I've experienced heavy duty redness and irritation with other brands at even lower concentrations. Aside from that, it does what a retinol should so I hope that this is made forever, because I am loyal to it.

There used to be a haircream commercial that said a little dab will do ya. Same with this cream and it works quickly.

If you’re using vitamin C or glycolic acid and want to add retinol to your skincare, please rotate the products every other night. For example use retinol one night & use vitamin C or glycolic acid the next night. Don’t use both at the same time. Your skin will get sensitive or start to peel. Only use retinol at night. Following these steps you shouldn’t have any fear about trying retinol.
